Classes
The objective of classes is to educate each patient about Fibromyalgia Syndrome, including symptoms related to Fibromyalgia, good mental health (including family therapy), conventional drug therapy, and alternative therapies. Because stress affects symptoms, we show sufferers how to reduce stress or manage it better. You will learn how to alter your lifestyle to incorporate better nutrition, exercise, sleep, and pain management.
During the course of the 9-18 months we will explore several text books recommended through the Arthritis Foundation. These books will give individuals a better understanding of Fibromyalgia Syndrome and the symptoms that go along with it. The classes will offer guest speakers from Rhuematology, Nuerology, pain specialists, dietitians, chiropractors, psychologists, therapists, physical therapist and other health care professionals with a special understanding of Fibromyalgia Syndrome and it's various treatments.
We encourage you in take the first step to getting your life back!
